So we are just about at the half way point in summer and i feel like there is plenty more on my list of to do's.   What i can cross off are camping, travel to DE, MD, PA, trips to the beach, swimming on the Kangamagus, and successful   landscaping on my yard.   (today my neighbors retaining wall tumbled onto the trees/grass i planted) 4th of July on the river in Hartford CT...more..   August and September will hopefully include trips to VT, concerts, and more.  

June and the 1st of July were perfect weather, mid 80's and sunny.  This past week has been rain, lightening/thunder showers, which  has actually given me some incentive to actually clean my house and do some dishes.   My favorite time of year goes so quickly.

I miss my boat.   I'm looking into a a retired guy's $2,200 fishing vessel that would take me well into September/October on the water.  Now that my friends have boats, i have seen under 8 invites to fishing trips.  iI must have taken them out 50-100 times back when navigated the smokercraft!    I suppose  marriage and children put a cap on  these invites.  
 

It certainly is an addiction, i believe it may take help from friends or family to stop if you're addicted.
